Fall Fun Day
We took Bailey to the fall fun day at the fairgrounds this morning in Terre Haute. She loved it, so it was definitely worth the $4 each for Tony and myself (Bailey was free). Her favorite animals were the rabbits and the horses ... and horses probably would have been first on the list except that there was a sign on their cage that said "may bite" so Tony tested it of course. And, sure enough, it tried to bite him, so we didn't let her get too close.
She also wanted to get a closer look at the turkeys, but one particularly mean one put a stop to that by pecking at her finger when she put it on the fence.
The goats were interesting, and she was really excited at first when she saw them. There were two little ones that were really cute. Then, as we were watching them, one turned its back to us and peed. Apparently watching this natural event was a little too gruesome for Bailey and she started crying - REAL TEARS. I have no idea why this was so upsetting, but it really bothered her.
When we left, we got to pick out pumpkins to take home. All in all, a chilly but wonderful morning.
Enjoy the slideshow! Note: if you click on it, it will take you to my album and you can go through them faster/slower.
